Pupperotica Menage a Trois

By Emma Brand on 19 Feb 2018

This show is seriously naughty! Bringing together two extremely different genres, puppetry and erotica, puppeteers Josh Walker and Keren Schlink have created a stand out show.

Be sure not to bring your kids to this, as it is very much an adult only puppet party.

Pupperotica is so much more than an ordinary puppet show. Presenting stories, songs and games of an extremely suggestive nature, these puppets are unpredictable, funny and obviously a little bit horny.

It is like when you are at a family dinner and your aunt says an evocative comment, but instead of her saying it, it is in the form of puppets… and this time you are aloud to laugh without being judged.

It is Sesame Street gone wrong (but oh so right!). These sexy stories are not only clever they are full of banter.

Upbeat and fun, and a safe place to chat about sex, a huge highlight of this show is the writing. Without it, the whole thing could become a cheesy, predictable mess.

Schlink, the main writer of the show has created not only amazing punch lines, but also brilliant build-ups, comedy releases and well-timed audience interaction that only serves to increase the quality of the performance.

From the costuming, to the props and lighting, everything is well thought out. Producer Josh Walker has also done a brilliant job. Walker and Schlink have carefully planned out this show to run so smoothly you will not believe it when it is over.

It is quite clear this comedy duo is a master team. They will have you wanting to come back again and again!

Pupperotica went well beyond my expectations of puppetry and comedy.

The Deluxe provides an ideal intimate space for the performers to be as indecent and disorderly as possibly. The play on words, and use of musicality, storytelling and of course, puppets, makes this show hard to dislike.
