Top 7 Pride Picks

Pride month might be wrapping up this weekend with the Parade, but you can continue to celebrate queer culture beyond November when FRINGE WORLD kicks off.

The 2020 Festival has a program of shows bursting with fabulousness with some highly anticipated acts and performers representing every colour of the rainbow during Fringe.

  1. 1. Anna Piper Scott: Queer & Present Danger

  2. Fierce queen of the stand-up scene Anna Piper Scott demystifies trans life for cisgender (people whose gender identity matches the sex that they were assigned at birth) folks and gives transgender folks some sweet comebacks.
  3. Anna will make you laugh while she shares real life experiences that are awkward, empowering and everything in between.

  1. 3. Krishna Istha: Beast

Super smart politics meets some really silly props as transgender, trans-national, performance artist turned comedian Krishna Istha dares themselves to some (pretty bent) straight talk at the stand-up mic.

Directed by award winner Zoe Coombs Marr, Beast throws a refreshingly daft non-sense bomb at the binary everything.
