Come and play with the five-time FRINGE WORLD award winning Perth Cabaret Collective featuring the very, very good jazz singers, a comedy duo and a nine-piece live jazz band.
2. Shades of Bublé: A Three-Man Tribute to Michael Bublé
Get Granny groovin’ to the smooth tunes of Michael Bublé! He has memorable covers like Feeling Good, Moondance and Come Fly With Me, but also amazing originals.
This three-man tribute to the famous crooner brings the swinging standards and pop hits of Bublé to Perth in an unforgettable high-energy concert event.
3. By A Thread
How about something a little more daring and breath-taking? Check out ensemble circus By A Thread!
Seven performers combine dynamic acrobatic skills and poignant physical theatre – all without nets or safety harnesses!
4. Maureen: Harbinger of Death
Skip over to the theatre for a brand-new play and relatable content for your Grandparents that is an homage to the voices of older women.
Inspired by courageous elderly women – one in particular – Jonny Hawkins transforms into Maureen to celebrate those who refuse to be invisible.
5. A Persian Dream
Take Nan and Pop along to see an ARIA award nominated singer this Fringe! Praised as a unique new voice from Iran, Tara Tiba has mesmerised audiences around the world.
The critically acclaimed singer has dedicated her latest album Omid (meaning Hope in Persian) to all the people dealing with mental illness.
6. Tony Galati The Musical
The surprise hit crowd pleaser of FRINGE WORLD 2019, that sold out before it even opened, is back! Don’t miss out on Tony Galati the Musical.
It is a heart-warming, toe tapping, inspirational story about WA’s favourite battler and biggest Perthonality.
7. Michael Griffiths: By Request
Come and see Michael Griffiths cover all the pop hits from across several decades – there would surely be something that the Grandies can bop along too. Singing also encouraged!
Michael Griffiths shares stories and songs from 20 years on and off the stage and sings favourites from A-ha, Elton John, Queen, ABBA, Barry Manilow requested by fans on social media.
8. A Swingin’ Gatsby Jazz Club with Cathrine Summers
The Grandies love a good time warp – so take them back to the roaring 20s in this Cotton Club extravaganza with popular singer Cathrine Summers!
There’s a lively 5-piece band, cabaret girls and a mix of old jazz, French classics and trad-jazz reworkings of pop songs. Wear your finest Gatsby attire and get swingin’!
