Best FRINGE WORLD Eats and Treats

Nothing works up an appetite for delicious treats and refreshing bevvies like a serious Fringe Binge!

There are stacks of options for eats, sweat treats and drinks to get stuck into before or between shows – or to help refuel after an entertaining show or two.

Fringe wraps up this weekend – so get in quick!

The Woodside Pleasure Garden

Get your Greek on with Brika’s pork krokettes and spana cigars plus Filos & Yiros’ popular lamb yiros and loaded patates.

Coconut Meat is serving up tasty tacos while Fish Boss has its usual fresh seafood selection including fish burgers and prawn tacos.

Bao Wow is slinging bao in kung food chicken, Coca Cola sticky pig and smashing pumpkin flavours while returning barbecue favourites HotMamaHot offers its famous meatballs, buffalo wings, cheese fondue.

Satisfy your sweet tooth with The Pancake House’s sweet and savoury pancakes and poffertjies and Dutch Ice Cream’s Dutch mini pancakes.

Matso’s Broome Time

Head to this tropical paradise for some chilled Broome-style vibes, eats and liquid treats. You can even see a show in the Gold Digger tent!

Sauma brings the goods with its mad dog Goan spiced sausage in a brioche bun, a chick pea dog made from Ord River spiced chickpeas and old favourite gunpowder loaded fries comprising Manjimup potatoes topped with twice-cooked butter chicken.

Street Eats serves sizzling charcoal satay chicken skewers, mini pork belly doughnuts with a sweet chilli glaze, American hotdogs and Chibba’s spiced fried chicken.

Quench your thirst on a balmy evening with the mouth-watering Matso’s Ginger and Mango beer on tap or the selection of Matso’s Dark and Stormy and Broome Mule cocktails.

Yagan Square

A huge hub of Fringe activity with a box office and an amazing line-up of shows at 11 venues, Yagan Square also has plenty of food and drinks options to keep you refuelled.

Market Hall is the perfect spot to grab a quick bite before or after Fringe shows, with an amazing range of treats. There is everything here, from burgers and fish and chips to pasta and poke bowls. You will never stay hungry!

Grab some weeknight bargains at pop up vendor Soul Provider, which offers $6 mac and cheese on Tuesdays and 1kg wings on Wednesdays.

Popping up outside, Soul Provider’s Po-Bay Shack has delicious po boys all served with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and mayo. Try southern fried chicken, shrimps, corned beef, pulled pork, plantain, with blackened cod and fried green tomatoes on rotation.

Ice Cream Factory

This dazzling pop-up entertainment venue features some of the best show on the Fringe program – and some of the best treats!

While you are in the Ice Cream Factory for session of big ticket shows Fuego Carnal or La Soiree 2019, you can get a taste of Vietnam at Saigon Soul Food.

The hub bar is stocked with a range of Gage Road Brewing Co beers and ciders to wash down the delicious treats.
