FRINGE WORLD is the perfect excuse to grab your gaggle of mates and head out on the town during summer.
Take advantage of the warm evenings, soak up the awesome Fringe vibes and enjoy great company with a cheeky show and forget about work worries.
Check out these shows (we even thought of some cheeky ones!) this Fringe that will have you and your squad talking and reminiscing for years to come.
1. Pity Party!
We can’t wait to grab our besties and go and see these besties put on a great show! Two friends (Frankie McNair and Miriam Slater) follow their dream of creating an amazing sketch show – but it gets a little tricky.
Among the several costume changes, ’80s aerobics, and Magic Mike strip routines, they realise their dream might be a little out of reach. It’s comedy, it’s burlesque, it’s slapstick, it’s heartfelt… it’s harder than they thought!
2. Bubble Show for Adults Only
Who knew bubbles could be so kinky?! Coming with a warning of strong nudity and sex scenes, this raunchy bubble artistry show certainly piqued our interest!
This cheeky adults-only show is one part physical theatre, one part bubble artistry and one part neo-burlesque, resulting in a soapy concoction of kinky, in-your-face theatrics.
3. Club Swizzle
The saucy, late-night hit show of 2018 Club Swizzle returns to Fringe with a few new tricks up its sleeve for a perfect cocktail of comedy, cabaret and circus served with a twist.
There is a new line-up of mischievous acrobats and cabaret queens to kick the mayhem up a notch and ensure a memorably cheeky night out. This is one show we want to stay up late for!
4. Bitch on Heat
We are warned that this bitch bites. Well, we are looking forward to baring the teeth marks!
Psycho-siren Leah Shelton, directed by UK performance art provocateur Ursula Martinez, aims to make us blush with this decadent banquet of lethal lip-synch, dark comedy and anti-burlesque.
We are packing our bags and going Camp-ing with Perth icons Perri Oxide, Donna Kebab and Sassie Cassie for a night of homosexual hysteria.
Join us and you will be in for a camp evening you won’t forget with a variety of fun from live music to lip sync performance. And no tents required. Sweet! We might have broken a nail.
For those who need to catch their breath after binging a string of saucy and sexy shows this Fringe, Orpheus has less sizzle, but is still a great show for you and your mates!
This award winning, UK-touring re-telling of an ancient myth is about a death-defying love told through hair raising spoken word and soaring soul music. And Bruce Springsteen.
