Tomas Ford shows his vulnerable side in this highly personal account of an artist battling his own demons as he tries to keep his family close. It's a sweet, sad peek inside the creative process revealing one man's hopes, doubts and insecurities. Weirdly, there's also plenty of laughs. And the songs are great!

A ukulele & electronic music cabaret of a family holiday, in typical Tomás Ford style.

What an emotional roller coaster! Tomás has made his name as a wild party boy and this show let’s us see behind the curtain. It’s hilarious and heartbreaking and you’ll leave wanting to hold your loved ones close to you. Everything from the kazoos to the ukulele to the delightful costume changes - Tomás has really outdone himself. Definitely a must see for any comedy and cabaret fans. 5 taxidermied sons out of 5.

Tomás is the only act at Fringe to make me laugh til I cry and then actually cry cry.

This show finds a strange balance between sweet, somber personal narrative and utter malarkey and fun.

Everyone should add this to their must see list this Fringe!!

Having seen Tomás’ previous shows and enjoy them so much, I was very excited to see what the new show was all about. It’s a beautiful piece of cabaret under the guise of a travelogue. An extremely personal love letter to his family, and an underrepresented perspective of masculinity in the modern family and mental health. It still has the classic neuroticisms that old school Ford fans will enjoy but the content is definitely a peek behind the scenes of Perth’s favourite party boy.

Cannot recommend enough.
