Local comedian Alissia Marsh's KING OF THE LESBIANS combines often hilarious standup with a large chunk of somewhat harrowing autobiography - bolted together rather than blended, as though you were watching two completely different acts (well, three, actually, because there's also an opening act by the very funny Charlie Fern). If you like Hannah Gadsby's work, you'll probably like KING OF THE LESBIANS. If you love Hannah Gadsby's work, you'll probably like KING OF THE LESBIANS. It's uneven, but the bits that don't make you laugh will almost certainly educate you.
